Kids Count

The Baltimore-based Annie E. Casey Foundation has updated the look and improved the navigation of the KIDS COUNT section of its Web site. (KIDS COUNT is a national and state-by-state effort to benchmark and track the well-being of children in the U.S.) The redesigned site features an interactive database with relevant data from the 2000 U.S. Census, including profiles and raw data for states, counties, cities, and congressional districts.

In addition to its benchmarking efforts, the Casey Foundation funds a nationwide network of state-level KIDS COUNT projects. To learn more, visit the National KIDS COUNT Network Web site.
