Background

Project H.E.R. T.U.R.N. (H = Health; E = Empowerment; R = Resiliency; T = Treatment; U = Understanding; R = Recovery; N = Network) uses a partnership model to deliver gender-specific outreach, engagement, and trauma-informed evidence-based programming (called Seeking Safety) to substance-using Black and Latino women who are at heightened risk of contracting and/or transmitting HIV.

Job Summary

  • Coordinate and monitor project services and activities, including training, staff and outreach scheduling and supervision, communication, and information dissemination (both within FCA and across project partners).
  • Coordinate activities that are essential to the program running efficiently, including but not limited to; development of linkages with other community providers and members to reach target population, development of outreach plan in collaboration with Case Managers and Outreach Workers, and facilitating Seeking Safety EBP.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, other prescribed treatment service, as well as advocacy and referrals to other services as needed.
  • Collect client data and compile necessary reports.
  • Complete and maintain client case records and statistics in a timely manner and in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor programmatic targets and ensure services provided meet minimum threshold of services required.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance activities to ensure programmatic services are effectively documented, clients receiving care are satisfied with services, and activities conducted are in alignment with scope of program.
  • Provide data driven supervision and guidance to Program staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by AVP of Addiction, Treatment & Recovery.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work or other relevant field with 2 years' experience OR Bachelor's degree with 4-5 years' experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge of SAMHSA a plus.
  • Experience with substance abuse disorders and HIV/AIDS population a plus.
  • Intermediate computer skills with MS Office.
  • Valid NYS driver's license with a safe and responsible driving record.

Requirements/Other

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 35 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday. May include some weekend and evening hours as needed.
