Responsibilities

  • Design invitations, flyers, and other assorted materials using existing templates, and make copy corrections as needed
  • Using Data Merge in InDesign, create personalized mailings (e.g., letters and postcards) that meet postal standards
  • Communicate with various internal AJC clients throughout job production process 
  • Pre-flight and prepare all files for printing
  • Interface with printing department for proof approvals
  • Understand capabilities of print shop equipment
  • Set up, upload, and track lobby and elevator screens
  • Track and log incoming projects in project management software

Qualifications

Personal qualifications and core competencies          

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years experience in design and print production work
  • Expert knowledge and minimum 5 years experience working with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize resources to execute tasks within a deadline oriented environment
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Must be highly disciplined and self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement initiatives and ability to solve problems creatively 
  • A demonstrated commitment to high ethical standard and values
  • Team player that can work with diverse staff
