Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is a large, not for profit, organization with headquarters in White Plains, NY. We are currently searching for a full-time, 35 hours per week, Director of Marketing and Communications to work from White Plains, NY.
Under the general supervision of the Chief Development Officer, the Director will develop strategies and executions of campaigns around marketing, events, fundraising support and general brand awareness for WJCS, an organization that has undergone a complete rebrand and substantially increased fundraising success over the past several years. Other responsibilities include developing and executing the annual and long term WJCS Marketing and Communications plans; developing, implementing and measuring branding activities across all media; developing social media strategies and content; and supervising a part-time Communications Manager.
The ideal candidate must possess a BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or Business; 5 – 7 years marketing experience, nonprofit experience preferred; and up to the minute knowledge of digital media, including social media. Candidate must have solid copywriting skills and graphic design sense. Must be proficient in email marketing platforms, including Constant Contact and Mailchimp.
