National Children’s Alliance (NCA) is the national association and accrediting body for Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs).  Formed in 1988, NCA has been providing support, technical assistance, and quality assurance for CACs, while serving as a voice for abused children for more than 25 years. 

Job Summary

The Coordinator of Information Technology manages the NCAtrak redevelopment projects from its planning and budgeting stages to final production; manages and implements marketing strategies and sales; oversees the maintenance of the system and the ongoing training and customer support; manages the NCAtrak data usage and analysis; oversees the NCA IT vendor. This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Reports To

Director of Grants Management


  • Manages the oversight of NCAtrak system maintenance
  • Coordinates the annual upgrades
  • Defines NCAtrak enhancement requirements
  • Manages the marketing strategies and the NCAtrak sales
  • Oversees the NCAtrak developers, data base and IT vendors
  • Manages vendor contracts
  • Manages the users’ database and works in coordination with the accounting department on the NCAtrak payment schedule
  • Creates and follows system procedures and policies around HIPAA, data security, COOP, etc.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing NCAtrak policies, procedures, user manuals, and user lists
  • Manages the NCAtrak data usage and provides technical expertise for NCA research projects
  • Conducts user online and onsite trainings
  • Oversees the NCAtrak customer support and provides assistance with Tier 2 tickets
  • Other duties as assigned from the Director of Grants Management and the Executive Director of NCA


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical field preferred
  • Understanding of web application development (preferably ASP.Net MVC, ISS, Windows Server)
  • Data security
  • System Administration
  • Database Administration, server management
  • SQL - managing and writing queries
  • Marketing and customer support experience
  • Experience in project management for information services
  • Demonstrated skill in successful integration of technological tools to enhance the work of Children’s Advocacy Centers
  • Proficiency in working in and maintaining database management systems at an advanced level
  • Working knowledge about client managements and ticketing systems
  • Demonstrated experience as a trainer and consultant on technology-related projects


  • Travel 25%
  • Telework option may be considered
  • May require lifting of up to 20lbs
