Job Summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia (GIMG) is searching for a creative leader with demonstrated success at implementing multi-faceted strategies to engage donors to provide fundraising leadership for a growing $45 million charity that operates a career college (www.helms.edu) and numerous applied learning social enterprises (www.edgarshospitality.com). Reporting to the President / CEO, the Vice President of Development will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising strategies aimed at raising philanthropic support for (GIMG) from individuals, corporate and private foundations. The Vice President will work to establish long-term partnerships and strengthen existing relationships with the corporate and foundation sectors, and other key communities to achieve the organization’s 2020 Strategic Plan (www.goodwillworks.org/2020).

The optimal candidate will have a master’s degree, CFRE certification and a minimum of 5 years demonstrated successful corporate and/or foundation fundraising experience. A strong track record of working at a high level with corporations, foundations and high net worth donors; and expertise in strategically advancing and leveraging individual support for GIMG goals is preferred.
