The Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with New York Academy of Sciences in the search for a Vice President for Foundation Relations.


Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Advancement, the Vice President for Foundation Relations will identify, initiate, build, and solicit high-level institutional relationships to secure high-impact philanthropic investments in NYAS science, research, programs, education, and events in partnership with NYAS scientific leadership. The Academy seeks an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and experienced fundraising professional with a deep understanding of science and research, fundraising, or investment experience with basic, life, or physical sciences organizations and institutions.

A bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, science, engineering, or equivalent is required for this position as is ten years of demonstrated senior experience in foundation fundraising securing six- and seven-figure gifts, grants, and underwritings.
