Job Summary

The Grants Administrator and AP Liaison is responsible for managing the execution of foundation and government grant and contract awards as well as serving as coordinating accounts payable. The position reports to Finance Contractors and COO.

Chief Operating Officer and Finance Consultants


  • Ensure the museum adheres to the terms and conditions of all awarded grants from the government and foundations by working closely with all departments and project leads to track implementation, execution and compliance for funders. Prepares regular reports tracking completion of progress, budget and any modification to meet all stated deadlines.
  • Ensure all department bills are properly coded and entered into for payment. Assist with other finance department tasks as assigned. 
  • Work will be 75% Grants Administration and 25% Finance Support


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Minimum of 2 years of grant administration & compliance experience and 1 year of Finance or Accounting experience, preferably in a museum or non-profit organization. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment preferable. Ability to work in a team-environment and be a self-starter.  Proficiency with MS Office, Altru, accounting software, Gmail & Google suite preferred. Requires occasional evening and/or weekend hours. Must be able to work with visitors of all ages to support museum sponsored events. Criminal background and credit check is required. Visit for full job description and employment application form.
