The Foundation is seeking a vice president for its Research, Evaluation, Evidence and Data (REED) unit who will provide leadership and direction in setting REED’s goals and strategies, including oversight of grantmaking. The role will also supervise a team of professional across six key areas: evaluation, research, data and technology, evidence-based practices, implementation science and performance management.
The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field of research or practice and 15 or more years of demonstrated progressive leadership and management experience in the nonprofit, public or corporate sector, which must include significant work experience with city, state or federal agencies, academic and research institutions and large nonprofits.
The core requirements for this position include a national reputation for producing tangible and durable results as well as the ability to create innovations in partnership and in concert with Casey’s Senior Leadership Team; work in diverse external partnerships; and start new projects. The successful candidate will have a proven aptitude for working with peers to evaluate the outcomes of their work and to develop internal accountability as well as for defining and articulating what success looks like for a program leaders. The candidate will have a strong background in performance management, evaluation and data capacity building. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the vice president of REED also contributes to the overall good of the Foundation.
