Arizona

To mark the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of Frank Lloyd Wright's birth, the David and Gladys Wright House, designed by David Wright's famous father, has been pledged to the School of Architecture at Taliesin, the Phoenix New Times reports. The gift to the school, which is planning to create a nonprofit administered by the Phoenix-based Arizona Community Foundation that will be responsible for its Wright House programs, is contingent on $7 million being raised by the end of 2020 for an endowment to help fund operations and a restoration of the building. To that end, the new organization is expected to launch a $15 million capital campaign later this year.
