Dodge Foundation Awards $4.4 Million in Grants

The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation in Morristown, New Jersey, has announced ninety grants totaling $4.4 million to nonprofit organizations in New Jersey working in the areas of the arts, education, media, and the environment.

In its second of three rounds of grantmaking for the year, the foundation awarded forty-two grants totaling $1.9 million to arts organizations, including $475,000 to the Cooper's Ferry Partnership; twenty-three grants totaling $850,000 to education nonprofits, including $140,000 to Young Audiences New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania; seventeen grants totaling nearly $1 million to environmental organizations, including $370,000 to Sustainable Jersey; and four grants totaling $370,000 to New Jersey-based media organizations, including $200,000 to independent radio station WFMU.
