Huntington Hospital Receives $7 Million for Cardiac Center Expansion

Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California, has announced a $7 million gift from Terri and Jerry Kohl in support of an expansion of its Heart and Vascular Center.

Three members of the Kohl family have received heart-related services at the hospital, including Jerry Kohl, who is enrolled in the hospital's cardiac rehabilitation program, which provides physician-supervised exercise and other supportive heart health services to cardiac care patients.

The Kohls are longtime supporters of the hospital, having previously made gifts in support of advanced robotic surgery technology, the Emergency & Trauma Center, and surgical suites. They are owners of Brighton Collectibles, an accessories manufacturer and retailer with a hundred and eighty retail stores.

"Terri and Jerry Kohl have been longtime supporters of Huntington Hospital," said Jane Haderlein, the hospital's senior vice president for hilanthropy and public relations. "Through their extraordinary generosity, we are able to provide the community with state-of-the-art cardiac facilities for generations to come."
