McKnight Foundation Awards $16.4 Million in Third-Quarter Grants

The McKnight Foundation in Minneapolis has announced third-quarter grants totaling nearly $16.4 million to eighty-four organizations.

Seven of the eighty-six grants were awarded to organizations working to advance exceptional and diverse artistic practices in the region. Recipients include Dakota Wicohan, which was awarded $60,000 over two years in support of the Tawokaga arts program for Dakota artists; Eastside Arts Council, which will receive $25,000 to advance a program that partners artists with neighborhood development projects; Forecast Public Artworks which was awarded $196,000 over two years in support of its public art grant program; and the Walker Art Center, which will receive $275,000 over two years for, its online artists' community and marketplace.
