United States Artists, a national grantmaking and advocacy organization, has announced the recipients of its 2018 USA Fellowships.

Forty-five artists and artist collectives working in the fields of architecture and design, crafts, dance, literature, media, music, theater and performance, traditional arts, and visual arts will each receive $50,000 to support their practice and professional development. Since its inception in 2006, the program has awarded more than $22 million.

This year's USA Fellows include Amanda Williams (architecture and design), Julia Galloway (crafts), Oguri (dance), Starlee Kine (media), Toshi Reagon (music), Lileana Blain-Cruz (theater and performance), Sonya Kelliher-Combs (traditional arts), Dread Scott (visual arts), and Molly McCully Brown (writing).

"Our 2018 USA Fellows represent the remarkable breadth and depth of the American cultural landscape," said United States Artists board chair Steven H. Oliver. "We are thrilled to be able to make these awards possible and to provide a windfall to help support artists so that they can continue to be keepers of our collective humanity."
