NO MORE Project

NO MORE Project
Founded: 2013

Mission:
To galvanize greater awareness and action to end domestic violence and sexual assault.

About the Organization:
Supported by an alliance of foundations, nonprofit organizations, and corporations, the NO MORE Project is a national campaign to end domestic violence and sexual assault by encouraging people to talk about the issue and say "NO MORE."

Current Programs:
The organization's projects include a PSA campaign, launched in partnership with the Joyful Heart Foundation in 2013, that features messages from celebrities and anti-domestic violence advocates asking bystanders to take action against abuse, sexual assault, and rape. The campaign also hosts a photo gallery of victims and supporters who say "NO MORE" to domestic violence and sexual assault as well as to the silence surrounding the issue by telling their own stories. Supporters of the campaign are encouraged to hold awareness-raising events using "Tools to Say NO MORE," including posters, FAQs, an event toolkit, an action guide, and other resources.

Web Site:
Visitors to the site can learn about the scope of the problem; browse video PSAs, or sign up to receive updates. The site also provides an online form for organizations that want to join the NO MORE alliance, as well as information on how to get immediate help for domestic abuse victims and how to support the campaign by making a donation.

Funding:
The NO MORE project receives support from foundations and corporations.
