Partners in Parkinson’s

To fill knowledge gaps and provide new educational tools and resources for the Parkinson's community.

A project of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and AbbVie, Partners in Parkinson's aims to provide patients and caregivers with resources for managing Parkinson's disease, information on current research, and opportunities to connect with other patients, caregivers, and clinicians.

Outstanding Web Features:
Visitors to the site can learn about the causes, symptoms, and the progression of as well as treatments for Parkinson's disease; download a guide that includes tips for living with Parkinson's and building a care team; and/or search for a specialist in their geographic area using the Movement Disorder Specialist Finder tool, which was developed in collaboration with the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society. They also can learn about events and other types of community support for patients and caregivers, or sign up to receive individualized support from a Parkinson's Disease Advocate, a trained professional with the latest knowledge about Parkinson's disease and access to resources who can offer advice, support, and inspiration.
