First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania Invites Applications for Southern Tier Grant Program

The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP) works to improve the quality of life in north-central Pennsylvania through community leadership, the promotion of philanthropy, the strengthening of nonprofit impact, and the perpetual stewardship of charitable assets.

In support of this mission, FCFP is inviting applications for its Southern Tier Unrestricted Grant program. Through the program, grants ranging between $5,000 and $10,000 will be awarded to nonprofit organizations serving residents of Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and/or Union counties in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and human services, youth, the environment, and/or economic development. The program supports requests for capital improvement, equipment and technology, new programs, and program enhancements.

A total of $30,000 will be made available through the program in 2019.

To be eligible, applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code and serve residents of Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and/or Union Counties.
