The American Psychological Foundation is inviting applications for its Bruce and Jane Walsh Grant in Memory of John Holland.
Through the program, a single grant of $15,000 will be awarded in support of scientific, scholarly, or applied research and/or educational activities focused on how personality, culture, and environment influence work behavior and mental and physical health.
Preference will be given to early-career psychologists (ten years or less postdoctoral), pilot projects that, if successful, would be strong candidates for support from major federal and foundation funding agencies, and "demonstration projects" that promise to generalize broadly to similar settings in other geographical areas and/or settings.
To be eligible, applicants must be affiliated with a nonprofit as defined under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. If human participants are involved, IRB approval must be received from the host institution before funding can be awarded.
See the American Psychological Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
