Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis Invites Applications for Artist Fellowships

The Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis is at the forefront of efforts to transform St. Louis into a more vibrant, creative, and economically thriving community by elevating the vitality, value, and visibility of the arts and culture.

To that end, RAC is inviting applications for its Artist Fellowship. The fellowship serves to foster and invest in the careers of St. Louis artists in all disciplines by providing funds to advance their creative journey.

Through the program, ten St. Louis-based artists will receive awards of $20,000 to give them more space to study, reflect, experiment, explore, practice, and create. Artists may be at any stage of career development (emerging, mid-career, or established).

To be eligible, applicants must be 25 or older; not be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student or have plans to enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in the next fifteen months; be a current resident of the City or County of St. Louis and have maintained primary residence in the city or county for at least a year; and have created and presented their own original works to the public or performed for the public in the past three years.
