Fund for Sandwich Accepting Proposals From Nonprofits Serving Sandwich Residents

The Fund for Sandwich, one of three town funds affiliated with the Cape Cod Foundation, is accepting proposals from nonprofit organizations serving residents of Sandwich. 

The fund was established at the foundation in 2015 to build a permanent endowment for the town of Sandwich, and to date it has distributed $5,000 in grants.

This year, the fund will award grants of $750 to five nonprofit organizations serving residents of the community, including projects and programs in the fields of health and human services, education, the environment, youth and elder services, community development, and the arts. 

The grant application process is entirely online at capecodfoundation.org, and proposals must be submitted by noon on Friday, October 4.

Recipients will be announced at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, at a presentation at the Sand Hill School Community Center,16 Dewey Avenue, Sandwich, Massachusetts.
