For more than thirty-seven years, the Ploughshares Fund has supported people and organizations working to reduce and eventually eliminate the dangers posed by nuclear weapons.
To that end, the fund invites applications from organizations and individuals working to build a safe, secure, nuclear weapons-free world. Grants will be awarded to individuals and organizations working to promote the reduction and eventual elimination of nuclear weapons, prevent the emergence of new nuclear states, and regional peace.
The fund encourages women and people from diverse communities to apply for a grant.
The fund places very few restrictions on grantmaking, does not impose geographical limitations on its awards, and is able to fund direct lobbying programs; it also makes grants to individuals.
See the Ploughshares website for complete program guidelines, application instructions, and an eligibility quiz.
