The Educational and Research Foundation for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is inviting applications for its Leslie Bernstein Grant program.
Through the program, grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded in support of research that advances the state of knowledge with respect to the theory, techniques, and application of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Proposals that aim to introduce new knowledge and methodologies from other disciplines to research in the field of facial plastic and/or reconstructive surgery, or that demonstrate collaborations with members of other related disciplines are encouraged.
Letters of Intent are due December 16. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by January 15, 2020.
To be eligible, applicants must be a physician (MD) in the United States or Canada and be an AAFPRS member in good standing.
