The Escondido Charitable Foundation, an affiliate of the San Diego Foundation, has announced a call for LOIs for its fourteenth annual grant cycle.
ECF believes that people of all ages and abilities can play an important role as stewards of the environment. Successful proposals will be focused on cultivating future generations of environmental leaders and stewards, engaging the Escondido community in habitat conservation, and/or developing food justice programs that increase access to healthy, sustainable food systems.
Eligible nonprofit organizations serving Escondido may submit proposals for grants of $10,000 to $30,000.
The foundation will be hosting a voluntary informational workshop on November 20 at the Raymond Center for Philanthropy to answer questions about the grant process. RSVPs should be emailed to Tiffany Cummings at email@example.com by November 19.
The deadline for Letter of Intent submissions is January 6, 2020.
