The Gilroy Foundation was founded in 1980 to help address the needs of the Gilroy, California community in the areas of health, education, recreation, technology, culture, and civic services.
To that end, the foundation is inviting applications for its 2020 grants cycle. Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded in support of programs with the potential to address the civic, cultural, agriculture, educational, health, artistic enrichment, recreational, and technological needs of Gilroy and the surrounding area, with a focus on the cause of a problem rather than its continuing impact on the community.
Eligible applicants include tax-exempt organizations as defined under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Gilroy public and private schools, and the city of Gilroy.
See the Gilroy Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
