For more than thirty-seven years, the Ploughshares Fund has supported people and organizations in the world working to reduce and eventually eliminate the dangers posed by nuclear weapons.
To that end, the fund invites applications from organizations and individuals working to build a safe, secure, nuclear weapons-free world. Grants will be awarded to individuals and organizations in support of efforts to promote the reduction and eventual elimination of nuclear weapons, prevent the emergence of new nuclear states, and advance regional peace.
The fund encourages women and people from diverse communities to apply.
Applications will be accepted on the fund’s portal between February 14 and March 16, 2020.
The fund places very few restrictions on grantmaking, does not impose geographical limitations on its awards, and is able to fund direct lobbying programs; it does make grants to individuals.
See the Ploughshares website for complete program guidelines, application instructions, and an eligibility quiz.
