The Greater New Orleans Foundation is inviting applications for its Exxon-Mobil Fund.
A donor-advised fund at GNOF, the Exxon-Mobil Fund supports programs serving residents of St. Bernard Parish and Algiers, on the west bank of the Mississippi. Through the fund, grants will be awarded to organizations in support of new, creative, or beneficial community-focused programs; capital grants for new construction or major renovations; seed grants to help start a new organization that responds to an important opportunity in the community; and bridge grants to sustain organizations experiencing financial hardship.
For St. Bernard Parish, grant amounts typically do not exceed $10,000 and for Algiers grants typically do not exceed $4,000.
While priority is given to nonprofit organizations based in St. Bernard Parish or Algiers, nonprofit organizations serving St. Bernard or the Algiers area will be given consideration.
To be eligible, applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or have a fiscal agent with such status, and serve residents of Algiers or St. Bernard Parish.
See the Greater New Orleans Foundation website for complete program guidelines, application instructions, and the designated area served in Algiers.
