The mission of the Erie Women’s Fund, a donor-advised fund of the Erie Community Foundation, is to empower women and families.
The fund seeks proposals for projects that address any of the various community gaps in the following areas: childcare, food insecurity, health and health care, housing, transportation, and workforce training/education.
The fund has committed at least up to $15,000 to this end and expects to award multiple grants of $5,000 each.
To be eligible for a grant, applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) and be based in Erie County (Pennsylvania). The fund will not consider proposals from for-profit organizations or for sectarian religious activities, fundraising, or hospitality projects.
Applications for a min-grant must be submitted online by October 15. Finalists will be selected in November, and grant recipients will be announced in December.
