The American Psychological Association is accepting nominations for the Theodore Blau Early Career Award for Outstanding Contribution to Professional Clinical Psychology.
The annual program presents a one-time award of up to $2,000 to an established clinical psychologist in recognition of his/her accomplishments and promise in clinical psychology.
Accomplishments may include promoting the practice of clinical psychology through professional service; innovation in service delivery; novel application of applied research methodologies to professional practice; positive impact on health delivery systems; development of creative educational programs for practice; or other novel or creative activities advancing the service of the profession.
Nominees should be no more than ten years postdoctoral. Individuals who represent diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, and sexual orientation are encouraged, and self-nomination is permitted.
