Sigma Theta Tau Invites Applications From Nurses for HIV/AIDS Research

Launched in 1922, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing provides support for nurse-leaders and nursing research.

In partnership with the Association of Nurses in Aids Care, the organization invites applications to its Sigma/Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC) Grant program. Through the program, a single grant of $2,500 will be awarded in support of clinically oriented HIV/AIDS research conducted by a nurse. Research may be focused on HIV prevention, symptom management, promotion of self-care, and/or adherence. Proposals for pilot and/or developmental research also will be considered.

To be eligible, applicants must be a registered nurse with a current license and a master’s degree and/or enrolled in a doctoral program. Membership in one of the organizations is required, however applicants are not required to be a member of both organizations.

See the Sigma Theta Tau website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
