Rhode Island Foundation Accepting Applications for Clean Competition Fund

The Rhode Island Foundation is accepting applications from Rhode Island-based nonprofit organizations to its Clean Competition Fund.

The program supports work in the areas of outreach, education, and testing for human growth hormone (hGH) steroids. Grant amounts will be determined on a project-by-project basis. As a point of reference, in 2015 the fund awarded $115,000 to the Rhode Island Interscholastic League to provide educational messages to athletes, coaches, and parents about the negative impacts of human growth hormone (hGH) and other performance-enhancing drugs.

To be eligible, applicants must be a Rhode Island nonprofit serving a well-defined population in Rhode Island.

For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Rhode Island Foundation website.
