OK City Zoological Society Invites Applications for Zoo Education Programs

The Oklahoma Zoological Society, the nonprofit support group of the Oklahoma City Zoo, provides grants to offset the cost of zoo education programs. Grants are available for programs serving pre-K-12 students, as well as youth and adult organizations.

Applicants for the schools grant must select one of two program options: either classes on zoo grounds (for grades 3 and up only), or outreach programs at the awarded site. Grant amounts will be determined on a program-by-program basis.

To be eligible, applicants must be a nonprofit social service or civic organization or club; a school or organization in the Oklahoma City sales tax area; and/or a school with more than 50 percent of students receiving free or reduced lunches.

See the OKC Zoo website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
