The American Gastroenterological Association is accepting applications for its annual AGA-June & Donald O. Castell, M.D., Esophageal Clinical Research Award.
Through the program, a single grant of $25,000 will be awarded for research and/or salary support for junior faculty involved in clinical research on esophageal diseases. The award, which is funded by the June and Donald O. Castell, M.D., Gastroenterology Research and Education Trust, is intended to support investigators who have demonstrated high potential to develop independent, productive research careers.
To be eligible, applicants must have an M.D., a Ph.D., or equivalent; hold a full-time faculty position at a North American university or professional institute; and be an AGA member at the time of application submission. In addition, research must be conducted at a North American university or professional institution.
