The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is accepting nominations for its 2017 Catchers in the Rye Humanitarian Award.
The annual award honors a non-AACAP member who has made significant contributions to the field of children's mental health. Contributions may include but are not limited to philanthropy, research, entrepreneurship, advocacy, increasing awareness, acts of bravery and kindness.
The 2017 award recipient will be recognized for their impact on children's mental health at the 2017 AACAP 64th Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., October 23-28, 2017. Recipients are required to attend the awards ceremony at the annual meeting.
To be eligible, nominees must not be an AACAP member; however, only AACAP members may submit a nomination. Nominees from the Washington, D.C., area are encouraged.
