GTE Financial, a credit union in Tampa, Florida, is accepting applications for college scholarships from high school seniors and undergrads in its service area who are making a difference in their communities.
To help ease the financial burden of college, each year the credit union awards $2,500 scholarships to thirty-six students with proven leadership skills, a strong academic record, and an ongoing commitment to their communities.
To be eligible, students must be a GTE Financial member and the primary account holder at the time of application. He or she also must be a graduating high school senior or an undergrad who is continuing to pursue an undergraduate degree. All applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to community service.
