Aniara Seeking Applications for 2017 Coagulation Research Grant Program

Diagnostic and research company Aniara is inviting applications from established investigators for its 2017 Aniara Coagulation Research Grant program.

A single twelve-month grant of up to $10,000 will be awarded in support of specialized coagulation/hematology research. In 2017, Aniara will consider projects that deal specifically with EDS — Ehlers-Danlos syndrome — and its effects on hemostasis and thrombosis.

Funding is restricted to North America, South America, and Latin America, and Nordic countries. The program does not pay educational tuition, nor does it offer scholarships or fellowships of any kind.

Applicants are expected to have an advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) and be associated with an educational organization or institution. Independent researchers or those pursuing a Ph.D.-level degree may apply, but awards to non-Ph.D. applicants are rare. As a general rule, all applicants are expected to have published a minimum of three articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

See the Aniara website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
