The mission of the California Fertilizer Foundation is to provide funding to California's public and private elementary, middle, and high schools for the continuation and/or implementation of in- and afterschool garden programs. Since 1999, CFF has donated more than $300,000 to more than two hundred and fifty California schools for school-garden projects.
Through its School Garden Grant Program, CFF will award grants of $1,200 to schools in California (twelve grants awarded twice a year).
Due to limited funding, pre-schools, colleges, and community gardens are not eligible for a grant.
See the CFF Web site for complete program guidelines, application instructions, and information about previous grant recipients.
