Wildlife Acoustics Seeks Applications for Bioacoustic Research

The mission of Wildlife Acoustics is to advance conservation and environmental stewardship, enabling those involved in animal biology, research, and conservation to do their best work easily and quickly.

To advance this mission, the organization will award grants of up to $5,000 in support of bioacoustics research on chiropteran, avian, terrestrial, amphibious, and marine wildlife, and everything else in between. Projects must make significant use of bioacoustics for data collection and/or analysis, advance scientific knowledge, and contribute to long-term conservation. In addition, the grant award must have a significant impact on the success of the project.

To be eligible, applicants must be a biologist, researcher, conservationist, or student who works for a tax-exempt nonprofit organizations. educational institution, or government agency. Non-U.S. organizations are eligible to apply.
