Ribbons of Hope–Invest in Women is an Atlanta-based foundation that began as friends and family of the Coca-Cola Company who wanted to support organizations that are making a difference in women's lives. Since its inception, the foundation has expanded to include all women who share its passion for improving the lives of others.
To that end, the foundation will award a single grant of $100,000 to an organization that promotes education, health, economic independence, social well-being, or human rights for women and girls. Preference will be given to programs and projects that can be fully funded by a $100,000 grant and are not reliant on other sources of funding to be successful.
To be eligible, organizations must be considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, have been in operation for a minimum of three years, and have an annual operating budget of at least $500,000. ROH's first three recipients were located in Atlanta; however, the foundation’s regional focus comprises Georgia and states contiguous to it.
See the Ribbons of Hope–Invest in Women website for complete eligibility guidelines, information about previous grant recipients, and application instructions.
