The Oncology Nursing Society Foundation is seeking Letters of Intent from early-career researchers for its mentored Research Career Development Award.
Through the annual fellowship program, grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded to support short-term oncology research training and mentoring. Each fellow will receive up to $18,000 to cover research-related expenses, while the mentor or the mentor's institution will receive a $2,000 award in the form of an unrestricted honorarium to cover the mentor’s consultative or research-related expenses and/or other institutional costs.
To be eligible, applicants must be a registered nurse with a completed Ph.D. degree in nursing or a related discipline and an interest in oncology research. New researchers (defined as having secured no research funding as a principal investigator) are eligible for an award for up to eight years after completing a Ph.D. degree.
