The Oxalosis and Hyperoxaluria Foundation was established in 1989 to promote research on a cure for oxalosis, primary hyperoxaluria, and related stone diseases and to improve the care and treatment of those it affects. To date, the foundation has provided more than $10 million dollars for PH-related education, awareness, and research programs.
Grants of up to $200,000 over two years will be awarded for research that ultimately leads to new diagnostics, treatments, or a cure for primary hyperoxaluria and related hyperoxaluria conditions.
To be eligible, applicants must hold an MD, PhD, or equivalent by the time of the start of the funding period and have an appointment at an academic institution.
For complete program guidelines, information about previous funded projects, and application instructions, see the OHF website.
