Healthcare Georgia Foundation Seeks Applications for Programs That Address Health Disparities

The mission of the Healthcare Georgia Foundation is to advance the health of all Georgians and to expand access to affordable, quality healthcare for underserved individuals and communities in the state. Since its inception, the foundation has been committed to building effective nonprofit health organizations that have the capacity to develop, deliver, and sustain high-health programs and services.

Through the foundation's Direct Services Grant Program, grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded to support existing healthcare services and health promotion programs aligned with its priority focus on addressing health disparities in Georgia. While new services or programs will not be considered, expansions of existing programs are allowable; in that case, the applicant must clearly demonstrate the availability of additional resources to support and sustain expansion beyond the requested funding from Healthcare Georgia Foundation.

To be eligible, applicants must be a nonprofit organization, quasi-governmental entity, and/or nonprofit hospital. Applicants must be located in Georgia and programs should target Georgia residents.

For complete program guidelines, an FAQ, webinar registration information, and application instructions, see the Healthcare Georgia website.
