The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation supports community programming that helps children, adolescents, and young adults affected by substance use disorders, learning disabilities, mental illness, and intellectual disabilities achieve their full potential. The foundation is dedicated to societal impact through healthy communities and capacity building.
To that end, the foundation is accepting applications for its four focus areas: Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and Substance Use Disorders, with a geographic focus of Barnstable, Dukes, Essex, and Nantucket Counties in Massachusetts; Erie and Niagara Counties in New York.
Grant amounts will range between $20,000 and $50,000.
To be eligible, applicants must be considered tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and serve populations in Barnstable, Dukes, Essex, and Nantucket Counties in Massachusetts; Erie and Niagara Counties in New York.
Applicants must create an account on the foundation's online grant application portal no later than September 1, 2017. Letters of Intent must be received by September 8, 2017. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a complete application by September 29, 2017.
