SVP Boston Seeks LOIs From High-Potential Education Nonprofits

Social Venture Partners Boston is a diverse community of leaders who invest their time and money in nonprofits working to ensure that every child and young adult in the region succeeds in school and beyond.

To that end, SVP Boston is seeking Letters of Interest from high-potential early- to mid-stage Boston-area nonprofit organizations working to help educationally and/or economically disadvantaged children, youth, and families succeed. SVP Boston selected nonprofits receive hundreds of hours of skilled volunteer time and roughly $100,000 in capacity-building funds, distributed over a three-year period.

To be eligible, applicants must be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the Internal Revenue Service; serve clients in a Boston city neigborhood or adjacent town; and be focused on helping kids and young adults succeed in school and beyond.

Letters of Interest must be received no later than September 5, 2017. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by October 18, 2017.

SVP Boston will be hosting an informational session for grantseekers at the offices of Associated Grant Makers on August 9 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

For complete program guidelines and proposals submission procedures, see the SVP Boston website.
