The Anthony Quinn Foundation has announced the deadline for its annual Scholarship Program, which aims to perpetuate the legendary actor/artist's vision for an art-conscious society.
Through the annual program, the foundation supports extracurricular study by high school students in the area of design or the visual, performing, media, or literary arts. Scholarship amounts typically range between $1,000 and $2,500.
Scholarships may be used for a recognized pre-college, summer, or afterschool arts education program but may not be used for either secondary school or college tuition.
To be eligible, applicants must be a young adult in high school able to demonstrate exceptional talent and dedication and a strong commitment to personal artistic growth.
Pre-application packages (parent/guardian form, nomination letter, recommendation letter) must be received no later than November 28, 2017. Full applications must be returned no later than January 3, 2018.
