Impact100 Essex, a component fund of the Community Foundation of New Jersey, is a new group of philanthropic women who collectively fund high-impact grants to help disadvantaged, impoverished, and underserved populations in Essex County, New Jersey.
As such, the fund is accepting applications from local nonprofit organizations for a $112,000 grant to support a new or existing high-impact project in Essex County that addresses under-met needs and empowers an underserved constituency. Projects should result in measurable, sustainable change.
To be eligible, applicants must be considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; be based in and serve Essex County, New Jersey; have a plan to spend the grant within within two years; and be able to demonstrate that all funding needs will be fully met. In addition, organizations must have been in operation for at least three years and have an annual budget of at least $100,000.
