Rupe Foundation Invites Applications for Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide Programs

The Arthur N. Rupe Foundation is inviting proposals from accredited community colleges in California for qualified certified nursing assistant and home health aide programs that provide quality entry-level healthcare training for students and increase the availability of CNAs and HHAs in the workforce.

Grants of up to $75,000 will be awarded to certified nursing assistant and home health aide programs for use during the 2018-19 academic year. Priority will be given to projects that increase the number of direct care workers qualified to provide aid in a home-based setting.

Any community college in California with an existing certified nursing assistant program is eligible to apply. Grants will be distributed to the college’s district, foundation, or other qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving as the program's fiscal sponsor.

See the Rupe Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
