RACC Seeks Applications for Portland-Area Artist Grants

The Regional Arts & Culture Council in Portland, Oregon, is accepting applications for its Project Grant Program, which provides financial support to individual artists and nonprofit organizations in Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties for project-based arts programming.

To that end, project grants of up to $7,000 will be awarded for specific art presentations, exhibits, and/or the creation of work. Grants are awarded in the categories of Artistic Focus, Arts Equity & Access, and Arts Services.

1) Artistic Focus: This category covers projects that demonstrate high artistic quality, innovation, creativity in programming and artist selection, and demonstrated ability by the artist or organization.

2) Arts Equity & Access: This category covers projects that support arts programs and services that involve direct community participation, including communities that are underserved, arts education projects, and community fairs and festivals.

3) Arts Services: This category covers projects that bring professional development programming to the community, including but not limited to workshops, conferences, or classes.

To be eligible, applicants must be an individual artist or arts organization residing/headquartered in Multnomah, Washington, or Clackamas counties in Oregon.
