The Tufts Health Plan Foundation is accepting applications for its James Roosevelt, Jr., Leadership Fund
Grants will be awarded to community leaders in communities in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Rhode Island working with multiple stakeholders toward a common community goal. Work eligible for support includes current or new activities that directly or indirectly lead to age-friendly communities and address barriers to success in the most vulnerable communities.
The foundation will consider the intersection between policy and practice as well as collaborative community work in the built environment, transportation, housing, social and civic participation and inclusion, employment, communication and information, and community support and health services.
In 2017, grant amounts ranged between $100,000 and $185,000.
To be eligible, organizations must be considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and serve communities in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
Letters of Intent must be received no later than January 22, 2018. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by March 28, 2018.
See the Tufts Health Plan Foundation for complete program guidelines, information about past grant winners, and application instructions.
