The Little Giraffe Foundation is dedicated to funding neonatal research and supporting NICU patients and their parents. To that end, the foundation is accepting Letters of Intent for 2018.
Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded to qualified scientists, doctors, and nurses at universities, hospitals, and research institutions for research focused on addressing both the long-term and immediate health needs caused by premature birth as well as the causes of premature birth and ways to prevent it. Research subjects appropriate for support include basic biological processes governing human development, genetics, clinical studies, studies of reproductive health, environmental toxicology, and social and behavioral studies.
Potential applicants must submit a Letter of Intent summarizing the proposed studies no later than July 20, 2018. Select applicants will then be invited to submit a full application.
See the Little Giraffe Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
