The Inasmuch Foundation invests in organizations that create positive outcomes for Oklahomans. To advance this mission, the foundation is inviting applications for its 2018 Inasmuch Community Fellowship program, which encourages Oklahomans to live and start careers in Oklahoma City.
The aim of the program is to embed college students at nonprofit organizations in Oklahoma City. Students accepted into the program will work with Inasmuch Foundation staff to find a nonprofit that fits their interests and is a match for their skill set. Each nonprofit host uses the fellow assigned to it differently, and therefore fellows should expect to perform a wide range of tasks dependent on their placement.
Fellowships will run from May 29 to August 3, 2018. Fellows are paid $12 per hour and should expect to work forty hours a week. Commitment to work the entire fellowship period is encouraged.
Fellows also will be registered in the Greater Grads: Intern OKC program organized by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. Intern OKC includes an afternoon kickoff and four weekly lunches where interns network with their peers and develop resources to help them make the transition from college to a career in Oklahoma City.
See the Inasmuch Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
